Welcome to the Cornell Attitudes Surveys and Evaluations (CASE)!

You are invited to take part in our large-scale study of attitudes. The study can be completed entirely remotely on a home or public computer.

The study involves two 1-hour online sessions during which you will be asked to complete several surveys and evaluations intended to measure your attitudes toward a variety of issues and topics, and one short follow up questionnaire that should take you less than two minutes to complete. The study will be completed over the next two months, beginning September 19th and ending November 3rd. Each session of the experiment, as well as the follow up, will be open for two weeks, during which time you can complete that session at your convenience.

You can earn up to $25 in Amazon gift certificates if you complete the entire study. You will earn a $10 gift certificate for completing Session 1, paid to you shortly after you complete it. You will earn an additional $15 gift certificate for completing Session 2 and the short follow-up. Please note that we not will send out the gift certificate codes for Session 2 until after the very short follow-up questionnaire session.

• You must be an American citizen, at least 21 years old, and a native English speaker in order to participate.
• The gift certificates will be sent to you from Amazon to the email address you provide. It is vital that you give us your correct email address, or we will not be able to send you the gift certificates.
• Please answer the questions honestly and accurately. If we determine that you were answering the questions randomly or without proper attention, you will be removed from the study.
• You may complete the sessions any time within the given window, but there must be at least 7 days between consecutive sessions. For example, if you complete Session 1 on October 5th, you would not be able to begin Session 2 until at least October 12th.
